Job Purpose
The Finance and Accounting Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day finance and accounting operations. The Supervisor ensures timely reconciliation and reporting of all financial statements and prepares financial analyses for all stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Finance & Accounting department
- Prepare the company's financial reports periodically
- Lead and ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Control the use of the budget to ensure the use of funds effectively and efficiently in supporting the company's operational activities
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in the general ledger
- Monitor to ensure that all daily accounting records are accurate and up-to-date
- Performing timely and accurate month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, as well as ensuring that accounting schedules are updated and accurate.
- Check and record all payment vouchers and make sure the journal and expenses are posted on the proper post
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in or above in Accounting, Finance, and Taxation
- Minimum 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Understand the financial, accounting, and tax systems and report properly
- Understand the AR flow from invoices, tax invoices, returns notes, and reports on sales or accounts receivable, up to the payment process
- Understand the flow of AP starting from the exchange of invoices to debt reports and the purchase of return notes
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
