Job Purpose
This position is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance activities, ensuring the adherence to quality standards and procedures within the food manufacturing facility and implementing quality assurance programs to maintain product quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage quality control activities, including inspections, audits, and testing.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, implement solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Develop and implement quality standards and procedures
- Ensure that products and processes comply with documented requirements, systems, and specifications
- Ensure that quality, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation programs meet regulatory requirements
- Handle corrective actions for non-compliant cases
- Perform food safety and quality audits
- Conduct an investigation if the company receives complaints from customers regarding product quality
Qualifications:
- Min D3 major in Chemistry, Food Technology, or Industrial Technology
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC principles, Food Safety System, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action planning
- Possesses up-to-date knowledge of local and global regulatory frameworks, particularly those related to food regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Highly adaptable, with strong teamwork and coordination abilities.
- Organized and detail-oriented with a systematic approach to tasks
- Self-driven and proactive, with a can-do attitude.
